WCELI is committed to increasing access and availability of high quality child care for families. In order to meet this commitment WCELI provides various professional development opportunities for early learning professionals. Listed below are current services offered for licensed child care providers in the WCELI community.
- Educare Early Learning Center - The hub for WCELI services, offering full-day and half-day Educare/Head Start services as well as a professional development center.
- Professional Development - Benefit from expanded education, training opportunities and resources including classes and specialized training for child care providers and early learning professionals.
- Wednesdays With WCELI - Join other families over coffee and tea to discuss early learning topics and resources. Activities will be provided for children, interpretation available.
- Coaching and Mentoring - Experienced and trained coaches work with you to identify and achieve quality improvement goals, and provide regular, ongoing one-on-one support throughout this process. The partnership you and your coach is key to build and sustain high quality early learning environments.
- Financial Incentives - Receive financial resources to help implement quality improvements that you have identified as goals for your program.
