Early Head Start Infant/Toddler Assistant Teacher (2 positions)
Develops supportive relationships with children that foster positive social and emotional development Implements curriculum which respects children’s emerging interests, provides opportunities for children’s multiple learning styles and uses a range of strategies and tools to support and extend learning in each of the developmental domains Completes child screening, assessment, and documentation to meet Early Head Start and Educare standards.

Qualifications: AA degree in Early Childhood Education and job-related experience. ~(AA degree in related field with 12 college credits in ECE, or AA degree in unrelated field and 19 credits in ECE may substitute for AA in ECE.) Early childhood experience in Head Start or other comprehensive child development/family support program preferred.

Must obtain Food Handler's Permit within 30 days of employment, and CPR/First Aid Certificate within 90 days of employment. Schedule: FT, year round.
