As part of its education investments, the foundation works to expand access to high-quality and affordable early learning opportunities for at-risk children from birth to five years old. The foundation collaborates with a wide variety of state and private partners to help close the school readiness gap, including Thrive by Five Washington and its two early learning communities: the White Center Early Learning Initiative and Ready by Five in Yakima.
