EDUC 204: Exceptional Child
(Previously EDUC 210) Introduction to children with disabilities and special education, including the history, theories, varying philosophies and the effects of disabilities on the child, family, relationships, school, work and society’s institutions.

EDUC 140/240: Cooperative Education
This is a practicum experience with a weekly seminar. Cooperative Education provides an opportunity for students to combine theory with practical experience gained in an approved early childhood, elementary or secondary classroom.

This session provides a basic overview of the Environment Rating Scales(ERS), a series of research-based tools to help programs measure and improve the quality of their learning environments.

FREE Mandatory Child Care Subsidy Billing Training— Coming this summer to White Center!
By now you’ve heard that all licensed family child care providers who take child care subsidy payments from the state are required to take a subsidy training. This training will cover subsidy billing, including recent changes to the rules. Find out what you can bill for and how to make sure your payments are correct.
