The White Center Early Learning Initiative (WCELI) is a partnership of community members and public and private organizations working to help all children in White Center/Boulevard Park begin school ready to succeed. The partnership is supported by grants from Thrive by Five Washington* and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

WCELI is one of two Thrive by Five Washington early learning demonstration communities in the state (along with Ready by Five in East Yakima). In addition to providing services in the White Center community, we are modeling strategies and approaches that can be replicated statewide, helping to build a better system of early learning for the entire state.
